Spring Start Ups Have Begun!

On March 17 we began activating irrigation systems and preparing them for when you need to water. Due to this labor-intensive effort, Rain Rich is recommending you schedule your appointment now.

Please be aware that this past winter was extremely cold and there may be a need to repair or replace parts of the system. Depending on the number of repairs and or replacements this will require additional time, or a 2^nd visit to complete. We want to accommodate you and complete all the work by Memorial Day.

Also, if you are planning on additional landscaping, new pool installation, driveway, patio, walkway and any other home improvement that may affect your sprinkler system then please let us know in advance.

A beautiful landscape is a valuable investment and the cost to maintain a sprinkler system that sustains a healthy landscape is far less expensive then replacing lawn, shrubs, and trees. Richard Silverman is the President and CEO of Rain Rich, a Huntington based Irrigation Company he started himself in 1982. He oversees sales and production, works with new clients to resolve issues, trains employees, and researches new services. He graduated from Stony Brook University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and received an Associate of Applied Science in Agriculture from Farmingdale University. He is certified as a Low Voltage Lighting Installer, EPA Water Sense Partner and Irrigation Designer.
